Three things make Dobříš unusual among the venues near Prague. The formal French garden gives a genuinely different backdrop from the city’s Baroque terraces — geometry and long axes rather than terraced intimacy. The interiors are decorated Rococo rather than the heavier Gothic and Renaissance rooms common in Bohemia. And accommodation on site solves the problem that undoes most countryside weddings: guests do not have to drive back to Prague at midnight.

Heritage venues generally restrict open flame, confetti and amplified music after a set hour — confirm the specifics for your date.
