Photography in Prague

Prague rewards photographers who know the city’s timing rather than only its landmarks. Charles Bridge is empty at sunrise and impossible by ten in the morning. The Vltava embankments and the terraced gardens of Malá Strana hold warm light long after the streets below have fallen into shade. Old Town courtyards are quiet all day and almost nobody photographs them. A session planned around that knowledge produces something quite different from a walk between the obvious monuments.

Sessions

Pre-wedding and engagement sessions typically run 90 minutes to two hours and cover two or three locations. Proposal coverage is arranged differently: the photographer works discreetly from a distance, in position before you arrive, and the surprise is coordinated in advance with the planner. Full wedding coverage is quoted by the day.

Planning Your Session

Sunrise in Prague ranges from about 04:50 in late June to nearly 08:00 in December, which changes what is realistic. Tell us your dates and we can suggest the right time of day and a route between locations.
